Hello All

I've been here for a while and I've decided to post my first topic and get some advice.

Would 50K be a good shot to take the risk and study in Vancouver ? Computer Science or CIS ? I was thinking of enrolling in one of the home stay programs and work while studying.

Is it worth it ? or should I save or try to get some more money ?

Thank you all in advance

50 K CAD are sufficient for Visa ....

Be aware, Finance are conducive for Visa entry but you need to weigh rest of the perquisites equal IMP

If you are planning to enter Canada on a student visa, keep in mind there are restrictions regarding work.

For example, for the first six months, you are only allowed to work on-campus (i.e. no off campus jobs). After six months has passed, you can begin working off campus but I believe the hours you are permitted to work are limited.

You may want to investigate these restrictions more before applying.

Guys thanks a lot really

but I come from a loooong way , from Dubai and im not too much worried about the visa cz if i dont get it i dont get it but i'm more concerned about how/if im going to live with 50K.

do you think it's enough to get me started there ? in a way that i can manage myself , find a job later and get PR after graduation ?

any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance
