Hi everyone,

I read a lot of discussion related to student visa and express entry and I really appreciate those who gave some light to the confused folks here. I am one of them.

I have 5.5 year gap after my graduation and currently working in reputated American based MNC. I am working as marketing Automation consultant from last 5+ year and now want to go for MBA in Canada. I had a word with consultant but he told me those students who have more then 5 year gap Canadian universities don't consider them as sincere student and very low chance to get student visa. Also I have some relatives there are very busy so I am looking for a help here.

Below are some details for your reference

Age: 26
Degree: B tech
Experience: 5+
Profession: marketing automation consultant
Want to go: MBA in marketing

Can you guys please through some light on this and also I just want to know what is the possibility to get selected.

Thanks for reading a long msg

Chances for visa with big gap are low but it is not impossible.
University admissions are not a problem.
But as you have a good work experience i think writing a strong SOP for university and Letter of explanation that how you utilized your 5 years gap and why you are a sincere student will do the trick.(it`s my opinion only)

Thank you

What is SOP? Do we need to provide this doc to the university?

SOP is statement of purpose. that is required by most of universities .
You have to explain who you are ? what have you done in your life ? why are you interested in studying in Canada ? why are you interested in studying at the particular university ? what do you plan for your future ?
it is very important doc and you must write it yourself and genuinely as it holds very important role in admission.

It is quite normal and actually a good thing to have a gap between an undergraduate degree and an MBA. Make sure to go to a reputable program or it will not benefit you in terms of your career.
