Hello all,

I applied for my father -who will be accompanying me during my studies- for a visitor visa on 25th March,
had his biometrics taken by 30th March,
& no updates since then :/

is that normal? could that be because I didn't do his application as a "family member accompanying me" and rather as separate visitor visa application?

It depends by office, but it is expected that a TRV might take from 2 weeks to 2 months to complete.

they do not want genuine person to visit Canada. They want person from Syria to settle they. ....

Call your visa processing center or send them an email.

The phones and emails vary by location, look for them.

I am going to apply online application for my parents. can anyone please guide me few points.
1. Do they sign form IMM5645E
2. 1 written in form IMM5257E $12000 in my father's form as it is showing in bank statment But Can u tell me what should i write amount in my Mother's form IMM5257E as my mother is accompany to my father. and also she doesn't have bank account.
