Hmmm.... let's not confuse "eligibility" with earning an ITA.

It is very difficult to predict the pattern of the cutoff score for draws. The lowest score ever was 413, I think. So it is theoretically possible that you get an ITA with your score. But you could be waiting for a long time. Or not. Or never get it. Impossible to predict. Unfortunately, your position is like someone who finishes 4th at the Olympics.

So, is there anything you can think of that you can do to increase your score?

Thanks for replying. What is the "average" or the "usual" score people aim for in this category?

As of now around 440.

They said if I have bachelor's degree from other country, i can have it evaluated to get additional points.

Right now I have 4 year bachelor's degree from other country, i used the online WES tool to evaluate. It is saying it is only equivalent to 2 years diploma program in Canada.

Should I include this in my application or should I just ignore it? Will it even give points?

I don't know what your credentials are so it is hard to say whether assessing your bachelor's will be of any benefit.

A 2 year diploma if validated would potentially give 98 points if you were applying as a single applicant or 91points if you have a spouse on the application. So that is definitely worth looking at if you haven't already counted it. If those points were added giving you over 500 points I would say you would be very likely to get an invitation in the next draw.

So If had my 4 year bachelors (from other country) evaluated, even if it is only equivalent to 2 year Canadian diploma, that is still a huge plus?

Because I ran the CRS calculator, there is no option to add multiple diplomas, so I can't see the score difference.

Btw, I also have a 2 year Canadian diploma.

Ah ok - I think you can only count the highest qualification as you only get one lot of points. So for instance if you had a diploma and a college degree it would normally be the degree that would provide the highest number of points and therefore would be the degree you would have validated. Not sure why your degree is only equivalent to two year diploma maybe would be worth investigating that further.

I just went ahead and applied for WES evaluation of my bachelor's degree, i hope WES can change the decision (before it was online tool which said its equivalent to 2 year diploma)

It also has written..

Note: Any degree equivalency provided is based on the information you have entered. It is not based on verified information or documents and may not be used as proof that you attended an institution or earned a degree. WES may change this provisional degree equivalency upon document verification and analysis.

Hoping for the best.

If they evaluate it as the equivalent of a 3-year program, you would then be able to claim "two or more" degrees/diplomas. So I think it is worth trying the WES (or other assessment).
