My Uncle has a expired Temporary visa and expired work visa . He is 68 and receiving a pension. Lately he has had some brushes with the law. Can he be deported?

You will need to provide more info. Do you mean he's been illegal in Canada for 35 years? Or his work visa ran out just recently?

Anyways if he's here illegally now (so has no status as worker, visitor or student), then yes he will probably be deported once anyone (police or CBSA/IRCC) discovers his lack of status.
