Hello Folks,

I have received an opportunity to work in Toronto for an IT service provider. My compensation is going to be around $120,000. I have a spouse and 2-year-old kid. I am considering a move from India to Canada. My biggest motivation factors are - living in a developed country, access to better education, healthcare, less corruption and better overall development for my child.

I am 35 (13 years of experience) and currently earning around 35 L in India. Based on my rough calculations, it seems I should be able to save $2,000 CAD /month. The offer looks tempting.

What do you folks suggest? Anything I should consider before finalizing my decision?

Thans!

I assume the offer is genuine?

Consider the cost of living in the Toronto area and what your commute might be like. $120,000 is a good salary but high housing prices should certainly be a part of your qualify of life considerations.
