Pre-Assessed..
So my husband and I got married on Nov 23rd, drove to Canada and arrived on Dec 2nd, they gave me 30 days to get our paperwork started and at that point I was told I need to check out and show proof we've started the paperwork.

What I need to know is if we comply with this what are the chances they will they extend my VR, or will I be required to go back to the states until the paperwork is finalized?

This also provides another snag, when filing the paperwork I don't know if we should fill out the forms with me living here or in the states since I don't know if they're going to let me stay after Jan. 2nd.
Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Best of luck in your decision!.

There's a very good chance they will extend.

Thanks for the the help RobRod that's a great starting point... and thank you for the reassurance BeShoo I am very stressed about this. :)

Your visitor record reads good until a month from when it was issued, wootwoot?. Is your application package ready to be mailed out?.
It's very important you make the decision that suits your situation better. Inland does take much longer than outland, you are american?. If so, Buffalo processing center takes as little as 3 months for straight-forward cases to be finalized. Inland is taking 9 months to receive First Stage of Approval... on top of that it can take up to another 9 months to be finalized.
I applied inland and it took me 13.5 months long to become landed (a Permanent Resident). I'm from Mexico, though.
Merry Xmas!.
