3 year PGWP after 1 year PG Diploma possible or not ?

Has anyone else heard/experienced this ?
I heard 2 people from University of Winnipeg got 3 years of PGWP. They did 1 year diploma in Networking and Web development ?
is this even possible ?

Seem unlikely and maybe they completed another program before that so qualified based on the 2x1 guideline. Would not rely on rumours as you may be disappointed unless you actually see physical proof from these 'people'

It happens, its more like a mistake from the officer so you cant plan to get that. In the form for pgwp there is a place to put how long the work permit you are applying for is, sometimes if you put 3 years even if you only deserve 1 they grant the full 3 years.

No, My wife is studying at that university. An alumni from her course told her. 3-4 people from the last batch got it.

Sounds like a mistake by IRCC. Don't count on it happening again.

It’s like that rare time shopping when an expensive item gets swiped for an extremely inexpensive amount . Don’t set your budget on it , and count on it happening again , because more than likely it won’t
