3 Months After Submitting Sponsorship Application - Didn't Sign 2 Forms

I am sponsoring (Inland) my wife to live here in Canada and we FINALLY received some form of communication. Apparently 2 of my Sponsor forms weren't signed. They said that we are now going to be at the back of the que once we resubmit. Does this mean we can expect to wait another 3 months just to hear that they are being looked at? We need to get her an open work permit, but I don't think we can until they say the application has been accepted!

Correct. If application was incomplete and returned, when you resubmit the process starts from the beginning (at the back of the queue).

No. Include payment receipts (See link for verification). Also processing time doesn’t begin until your application is checked as complete.
