I thought "Due Date" was meant to be an indication of when the whole process is expected to wrap up - i.e. PR application finalized

If your file is "queue to be reviewed", it should be done by the due date listed there. (At least that was my experience)
Of course, there is no guarantee if it will indeed happen on that day, so take it as the "best-estimate".

I am also feb applicant , did all , still waiting because of Medical
did upfront medical , again surveillance medical , got confirmation about that from CIC on jan 2015 and got for MR request system enerated email again on march . whats wrong with CIC :'( :'(
called Call center , they are saying all passed only MR in progress .and agent said dont do medical again just fwd upfront mr receipt again (but this is all over phone, not received any email reply which i mailed CIC 3 times on this).
Don't know what to do , whether go for MR gain or not. they gave me 30 days time to do MR. (can't they check there file for my upfront MR. :-X :-X)
Meet my MP also . lets see what he is saying now .
But yes bottom line we can't do any thing as nothing in ur hand

If you did upfront medical, do you have the IME number, your receipt and everything ? You can send them to CIC so that they would know...

Mine just in queue in queue in queue but no one come to review...
Officer please please please review my file... it is "recommend passed" but not "review required" why they don't review it.. (crying)

My file was recommended passed from 12 Sep 2014 , and till 2 weeks back it was eligibility was in "In progress". (2 days back only i came to knwo it is passed when called CIC agent) so don't worry . ECAS also changed to in process on 18th march'15 only.
For you it is not to late just give some time all will be fine
