I guess it depends on how much of a risk you want to take.
497 is a strong score but doesn't guarantee PR. You never know what might happen including IRCC introducing a NOC specific program, possible job loss before you get a full year of work experience, or any other number of variables.
The safest route is to take a second program so you get the 3 year PGWP. If you are OK with the risk, then you can just go with the single course and apply for the PGWP now. Ultimately your choice. You need to make the call. No one can make this decision for you.
