I still think there will be another draw by the end of this year. Reason being the Canadian holidays are 25th and 26th and 1st Jan. Rest of the time the government offices are still open. I m having hope. And still think being a Canadian worker on pgwp I have full right to keep my Job as a skilled class.

Actually - Canadian holidays are the 25th, 28th and Jan 1st this year.

Most offices will have very few people in next week and will be very empty. But anything is possible.

Quite hopeful that CIC will have one more draw this year. ;D

I am anticipating last draw for this year on Tuesday 29th.

This is more in hope than realistic expectations. As an EE applicant living and working in Canada I can tell you that many government offices are closed.

I think the next realistic draw date is 8 January 2016. Hope you're right and I'm wrong.

arent the draws always on friday though...?has there ever been a draw on any other day?

The draws have been Friday for the last 4-5 months. Earlier in 2015, there were some draws during the week (ie Tuesday and Wednesday) but they seem to have settled into a pattern where they are drawing on Friday for whatever the reason.

@joacry,Now you guys just made me hopeful. ....I'm at 481....cic one more draw please.....

The last cutoff was 461. Didnt you get your ITA?

I did but I had to decline it because the system gave me a score for Canadian work experience of 1 year (due to the limitation of entering start and end dates in 'month' not 'day' format). My '365 days' of work was reached after December 20, 2015. Hence now I can genuinely say I worked more than 1 year. Per the below link the VO, can reject an application if they determine all conditions were not satisfied at the 'time of receiving the ITA' or at the time of 'the e-APR'.

Some people on this forum said to wait until after Dec 20 passes and then file but I wanted to be 'safe' rather than 'sorry'.

Under section A11.2, an officer may not issue a visa to an applicant who did not or does not meet the Express Entry minimum entry criteria (MEC) or did not or does not possess the qualifications for which they received their CRS score at the time when

the Invitation to Apply (ITA) was issued; or
the e-APR was received by CIC.

I had a score of 417 and i gave my ielts again and noy got clb 9 in all the components . So now my scorr is 475. Will i get the ITA straight away or will i have to wait for the next draw? I updated my score today

You will have to wait for the next draw and depending on the score you may receive an 'Invitation to Apply'

my gf is at 449. hopefully the cut off score goes down a little bit in the next few draws.

I hope so for you and many others as well. The CRS draw score barrier seems to be at 450. It may not stay that way though.

i am quite sure the score will drop in the coming draws

Hi, i am sitting on 459 and the last draw was literally frustrating for me. I hope that next draw will take place in this year, then it's a good chance that ppl with similar 455 and up crs would get an ita, however if they make it in January, I don't believe that the score will actually be under 470. 3 weeks is a serious period.
