come here and get answers to your questions, cos if we don't know it, we will definitely find out.

How many files have been already received by the govt. of Quebec till date, any idea?? As know in the website till April 14, total 836 filed applications were already received. May be the cap of 6500 will be filling in few months.

Hi,

I came to know by reading your posts that you have keen interest to settle in Canada as permanent resident. I hereby advise you to look for new FSW program which is beginning shortly. Frankly, you do not need to wait longer than a year on FSW as you know QSW is quite slow in process which may take 4 to 5 years to complete entire process and notably you do not need french skills.

Ya dude i have an interest in settling down over there and looking forward on this FSW 2014 too but as of not having an IELTS score currently i'm restricted to apply right now in both programs (my date for the test is some months later as per British council). Can you give me an information about in what time frame the NOC 3012 cap was filled last year 2013 session of FSW??? i mean to say there are other professions as financial managers which had got its cap filled within 23 days of its opening last year so want to know about RN (NOC 3012).

Brothers,

Can anyone tell me about Quebec migration? I seen there 6,500 quota for Skilled category. Can i apply there without French Language and Do i need a job offer? Thanks

Hi brother,
Firstly,Quebec skilled worker immigration is based on points based system like Federal skill worker program. In order to be selected under QSW you need 55 points as a single applicant and 63 points as joint application. If you are able to grab the needed points then you don't need french and job offer.

Hi Vishal,

You can apply under QSW without IELTS. If you really want to reserve your seat for Canadian PR even if this scheme has longer processing time compared to FSW,apply for QSW.
Let's say this time it may take about 3 months to reach 1000 quota's. Next, If your spouse occupation appears in the FSW list ,She can apply as a principle applicant. So, my advise is register both of you for IELTS and decide after you get results in hand. No harm in trying QSW just matter is that you have to spend 1100/1200 CAD.
