Hi All!

I'm starting this thread so all Latin America applicants with Mexico City VO can share time lines and experiences. Currently there is not much information in the forum for Latin American applicants so it would be greatly appreciated if you can share your info! Thanks

Just had MR and RPRF

Hi!

Mexico City VO took a long time processing our application (PER was in October), but this past Wednesday we received MR, RPRF and a request for the PGR police certificate. So happy!

To anyone who has been through this process: How long after the email stating that a police certificate (PGR) was needed and that "an official signed letter is being sent via e-mail today" did you actually receive said official letter? I got the request on 1/28,got the MR form that day, but still haven't received the letter for PGR.... Is this normal? Should I wait 10 days before sending a prepaid airway bill? Waiting 30 days is way out of my comfort zone ;D

Hi

I received PER on Dec 3th. Still waiting for MR. I hope it comes soon.

Hi,

My application was received by CIO on December 15th for NOC 2281. I'm waiting for the charge.

Hey! Finally I found a thread with Mexicans!!!

We are very few.... I dont know why. I thought more Mexicans would be trying to move to a better country, maybe USA is very popular between our people.

I am a December 12 applicant anxiously waiting for cc charge.

Hi, I just wanted to share my timeline with you, my VO is Mexico City as well. Good luck to you all!!
Could the seniors help us and share their timelines for this VO? Do you have any idea how long it takes to process the files after AOR??
Thanks in advance,

Appl. received: August 18th
PER: December 5th
AOR: January 29th
MR: Soon (fingers crossed)

Hi dalila82!
Just one question.. you actually received AOR(email) from Mexico VO? I ask because I know there are some VO that don't send AOR.. So it would be good to know that I will be expecting an email too!!

Got an email with the missing PGR letter today! So happy!

To anyone with the same problem: we contacted the embassy via their online form at https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=mexico&_ga=1.99214366.1865818892.1422323143 and stated our petition fpr the PGR letter on 01/29, received the letter on 02/10 (and of course, I sent the prepaid airway bill on 02/09, wasting 400 pesos, but easing my mind :'()

Well, I actually wrote to them because I didn't know if my file was transferred to Mexico or if it will stay in my country's VO (Havana). They confirmed that my file was indeed there, but as for the MR, they told me to wait. However, I found out that after October, all the PR demands were automatically sent to Mexico... soooo we'll have to wait.
I think that after PER they might take about 2 and a half months for MR...
Good luck :D

why are the responses so slow from mexico biq? anyone waiting for interview date?

Hi Delila!

I have a friend from Cuba as well whose timelines are similar to yours, he applied on August 5th and received PER on November 26th but he's still waiting for MR. He also got in touch with Mexico VO and they confirmed his application was there but he must wait for MR.

Thanks for creating this new topic. My package was received on December 1st, 2014. My credit card was charged on January 23rd, 2015, I'm still waiting for any news.

Hello everybody,

I applied from Dominican Republic, but according to CIC, they forwarded my application to Mexico City VO.

My timeline:

App received: 22/08
CC charged: 20/11
PER: 10/12

Still no AOR nor MR request. I'm bit worried, since 64 days have passed from PER and according to the spreadsheet, the average time is 60 days.

Hopefully, the VO will speed up.

Good luck to all.

I also have a friend with a similar timeline, we can only hope we'll get the MR soon, because I was searching in the threads and apparently there is not much info for Mexico's VO, but there are people with similar timelines from New Delhi and Ottawa who already got their MR.
As always, fingers crossed and best of luck for all of you ;D
