Hi All,
I am from India, I sent my application for 2014 Canada FSW program by 01-JULY-2014 under 2174 occupation, as per the latest information from 'Canada Immigration Site' 662 applications are filed out of 1000 in 2174 occupation, here my questions are ...
1) "Now is there any possibility for my application...?" because now there are only 338 applications left...!,
2) is there any chance whether Canada immigration dept may accept more than 1000 applications in 2174 occupation?

Thanks in advance...

1. Sydney is probably still working on applications received in late May, so I would think that you are going to be out of luck.
2. Once the 1000 is gone, it is gone.

I looked at the FSW 2014 spreadsheet and I'm really confused.

The "Estimated date by which your application should be received to be in the cap" field of the "Realistic estimate" section in the "Apps by NOC / Cap estimates" tab says: "Cap became full on 9/10/2014?"

However, the "CIC Caps" tab says that the 2174 occupation is currently at 662 people...

The cap for noc 2174 was reached a long time ago. The information on the CIC web site reflects applications that have been both received and approved for further processing. CIC is still working on applications from May. So the numbers you see on their site only reflect May applications. You're way too late.
