Hello friends, I am writing to ask for advice on 2 questions:

I want to apply for Canadian PR for myself and my sibling. I have a few years work experience in the US, but my sibling is a student. Today, I tried to see if I was express entry would be an option for both of us and it looks like my application may go through but not my sibling's application.

So my question is, if I apply, get selected and get PR,
(1) Can I apply for my sibling? Or
(2) Do I need to become a Canadian citizen to apply for my sibling's PR?

Your sibling has to apply for himself/herself, there is no way to sponsor a sibling.

However, he/she will get an additional 15 points once you become a permanent resident.
