Hello!

My name is Ginny from Seoul, Korea.
I have asked the following questions to several immigration consultants in Korea, but they gave me different answers.
And I'm confused which is right.
So, here I have to write down my questions and ask for your sincere replies.

1.
I had once worked for Auto Insurance Medical Firm for more than 4 years as a Medical Assessor.
And looking through the duties of Managers in Health Care (NOC 0311), I found several duties which I'd done at the firm.
Am I applicable to the job? Do I need to have been a manager for the job?

2.
My husband had passed away 4 years ago, and I've been 'widowed' since with 2 children (with him).
My sister-in-law (my late husband's sister) is a permanent residence in Canada.
Can I get the point for "Relatives in Canada"?
Although I doubt it, I need to ask your opinions.

Thank you very much for your reading this.

Dear Ginny
If your duties match with NOC 0311 (at least 50%), you should go with that. Your application will be in the fast track.

As your husband is no more with you, you shall not get any points for his sister living in canada. This is my opinion. However, alternate opinion may be mentioned by other members.

Look into the following link you will find answer of your second question.

Relatives in Canada
You, or your accompanying spouse or common-law partner, have a relative (parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, child of a parent, sibling, child of a grandparent, aunt or uncle, or grandchild of a parent, niece or nephew) who is residing in Canada and is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

Noetheless, you can mention about your late husband's sister (documents if required in later stage), who is living in canada for taking an opportunity of advantage from the visa office. It will not carry any points, but may motivate the visa officer.

Good luck.
