2 Australians on work permit "International Experience Canada (IEC)"

Hi just have some general questions

My girlfriend and i have been approved for 2 years on this permit.

I am in the IT field (Network engineer CCNP) from my understanding if i go for any job the employer needs to prove they cant find a local to fill the position in order to hire me and fill out a LMO?

If this is the case i would imagine its going to be hard to get anyjob in Canada under this program as an employer is going to have to go through a lot to hire you.

Can anyone clarify this?

No LMO is required. Those on IEC work permits are exempt from LMOs.

so any employer can just hire you as if you are a normal Canadian citizen?

ok that changes things i was ready to forgot about the move

i guess when applying for a job i ensure i clearly state im on a IEC.
