there is no such procedure bro, just go for 1 yr course apply your visa, and after completion of that one yr course you have 2 option go for PGWP or do furture studies , so choose furture studies of 1 yr.

after that completion apply for 3 yrs work permit. :)

best of luck.

Guys, are you sure about this? Doesn't one of 1-year programs have to be a degree? I remember reading this somewhere.

Here we go... found it:

"Students holding a one-year graduate degree from a provincially accredited post-secondary educational institution in Canada (pursued full-time) after having obtained, within the prior two years, a degree or diploma from an accredited post-secondary educational/training institution will qualify for a three year work permit. This exception also applies to students who have left Canada temporarily between the graduations."

So basically, only degree/diploma holders can qualify for a 3-yr PGWP provided they finish another 1-yr degree within 2 years of finishing their 1st degree/diploma.

that needs to complete masters level degree then you are eligible for 3 yrs WP

Hi,
And what if we do 1 year Masters Degree? Can we still eligible to apply for 3 yr PGWP?
And if that Masters Degree is From Ontario, can't we apply for PNP then?

- Nope, if your course is 1-year long, you get a 1-year PGWP.
- Regarding your second question, yes, you may.

Any post secondary student is eligible for 3 year PGWP , if he studied for 2year.

Well if you have studief two separate 1year courses, you will be given 3year PGWP if both your courses are inter-related. It all depends on VO.

To world.citizen: Thanks for ur reply, but what if i want to apply for PR after 1 year PGWP? Will there be any possiblity on it? I mean PR under CEC requires a 1 year Experience and provided my Master's which i will study is 1 year program so can i apply for PR then? Or what would be the alternative?

And for PNP you said that i may, so is there's any uncertainity to apply under PNP??
