1st time applying, need some calrifications

Hello, great forum here guys!

This is the first time applying, and without a consultant, so I have questions that need clarifications, please.

1. For the Police Certificate, does it have to be from my native country or can it be from the country I'm residing in (I don't live in my native country)?

2. The IELTS exam is only offered via the paper-based exam here, is that ok with CIC?

3. For the French language, my French is very poor; do I include this in the application as "poor" or "none"? If poor, do I need to provide any proof? In what form?

1.U need to provide certificate from the country where u have lived for more than 6 months. Means u should have PCC from your native land as well as from where u r residing (if more than 6 months).

2. yes. U need to send IELTS results with your application pack

3. u will be asked to prove proficieny by taking proper classes and prove by way of certificate. May be asked later to appear for interview and check the proficiency

What if I lived in that country for more than 5 years and my spouse for more than 2 years, and only visit our native countries for 1 month or less annually, do we still need PCC from native country?

Where should I send my application, to the London office (my country of residence is associated with) or to Canada as it says here

All applicants in the Federal Skilled Worker Class, must submit their application to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.

All complete applications are to be sent to CIO Nova Scotia and after they verify the application, they will transfer the same to London for further processing.
