Picking up an old post

PGDBA will get you a lot more points than you think and much closer to last cutoff. I have seen "PGDBM" being evaluated as masters.

Even if the degree weren't evaluated as masters it still becomes "one or more degrees", which gets the full 50 points for "skill transferability - education". This is same as what the score would be even if it were evaluated as Masters. I'm guessing even part-time courses would be good enough.... though it would be helpful if someone could clarify on this as a few of my friends are doing part-time PGDBA/PGDCM from the state university.

I'd guess around 457 if it's this Friday, 465 if it's next Friday.

It was 450. Interesting.

Guys read sumwhr that 18thdraw has happened on 2nd Oct with cutoff of 450... Seems difficult for the score to drop to 400...

How do you get 700 points. is it 100+600?

Hi Guys,

For me does it make sense to apply for PNP or just wait for future draw.
As 17th (450) & 18th (450) draw had made me crazy.it was so f***ing close

any suggestion is welcomed

CRS - 448, with 5 yr of work exp & 1.5 yr of canadian exp (ICT) & single

Right now, you wont be able to get a PN very soon, as most provinces are already at their cap or taking longer than 6 months to process new applications. Anyway, all that you need to get an ITA with that score is 2 consecutive weeks with draws. Right now, you can expect the following, regarding intervals:

- 2 weeks: score remains the same or has minimal variation
- 1 week: score drops some points (about 5, maybe)
- 3 or more weeks: score raises and might go above 600 points again

Still, it is not a bad idea to keep an eye on some PNPs out there.
