16 days from 6 month completion timeline.. still in IP2 stage

Medical - Passed on 11th March 2019
Biometrics - Completed on 22nd March 2019

its been stuck in the IP2 stage for more than 3.5 months. Now there are just 16 days left for the final decision. I have heard people getting their background checks completed in 2 weeks (some take longer like 1-2 months), but i have never come across a case where it been close to 4 months and the decision is still pending. I am getting really worried and anxious. Any body know why this might be the case with my application ?

Same.. I'm just terrified that 6 months in and they still haven't reviewed the eligibility! Would suck to have an application denied after months for some technicality!

i think it stays that way until the final decision is made. so don't worry about the eligibility review. lets just hope for the best and keep our fingers crossed. meanwhile someone might be able to help with the confusion as to why it is taking so long for the background check.

Thanks! Yeah, it seems most people's applications are pending and overdue. See the January AOR thread..
