6 out of 8 of my friend who applied in first week of oct got MR today....
Do u think they are trying to clear all backlog as staff is back
to PR processing department.

Could well be.
However it's not the 12 month timeline if they applied oct 3 and just got MR today - that's more like 13-14 month timeline ;-)

I agree with ya, the timeline would be more like 13-14 months. After you got medicals, it's like 1 or 2 months more to go.
