Hello All,

My first post. Exam date 10th July IELTS results are out. I have checked them online thru ielts.britishcouncil website.

My score is ,

L - 7.5
R - 6.5
W - 7.0
S - 7.5
Overall Band - 7.0

As per the points calculation from CIC website, I have secured 22 points (please correct me if I am wrong with this calculation).

I have a question here. Why does the website say that "the results are provisional only, and should not be used as an official confirmation of your achievement", does this indicate that the score can downgrade or upgrade at a later point of time?

Thanks,
Tapasvi.

Hi lvbntapasvi,

1. Yes, you can claim 22 points.
2. Don't worry about your 2nd question. As ideally, there is no change in the scores.

because (sometimes) the result in the official IELTS certificate differ from the result shown in the website either due to technical issues or just human errors.. But usually there's no change.

Hello Warraich,
