I attended a school conference about PGWP. Initially when I entered Canada, I was taking up a 2 year program, I didn't like the program and chose to transfer to a 3 semester accelerated program. Before I transferred I was advised that with this, it will be considered that my duration of study is 2 years (4 semesters) so I went ahead with my transfer. Today I was told I will only be eligible for a 1 YEAR PGWP! Is there anyone who was in the same situation and how long was your PGWP? Help.

Doubt anyone can comment without knowing the specific school and program.

But just to be clear, your PGWP will be based on the length of the program you completed only. You don't get any credit for the time spent in the program you did not complete.
