My wife and I have been staying in this basement apartment for the past 3 years (ever since we first landed in Toronto). I am planning to bring my in-laws next, and so we we'll be moving out a bigger space by November'2015. The landlord's family is currently in the Caribbean, as he is employed there. This makes the place very peaceful to stay. All amenities i.e., TTC (10 min to both St.Clair West and Ossingotn subway stations), No Frills, banks, restaurants, are available nearby. Rent is $1000 per month. This includes water/electricity, hydro, internet and washer/dryer. Two adults can easily stay in this basement apartment.
