And.. you are correct - as per my research in 2018, I also found out that WES used to write Master for an IIM PG diploma but no more as technically it is not a master degree.

Hmm yes. or may be even wait for some authorised body like wes, CES, etc. give you a recognition.
Word of advise - if anyone has selected a specific province in their EE application, you should immediately select all provinces. You never know where opportunities come from- e.g. PNP nomination.
Not strictly true. I got mine 3 months ago and WES gave masters' equivalency for Ahmedabad. I'm not sure if they differentiate between IIMs.
I was under the impression that all IIM and IIT post graduate degrees were given masters' equivalency.
Well.. clearly I did not get that from WES in 2018 for Lucknow and they also took a huge time for verification as they verified directly with IIM L - report says "Documents were verified by the institution" unlike my Bachelor's "Documents were sent directly by the institution".
Anyways, I have an ITA, so I guess it doesn't matter for me.

In your EE application, select all provinces in your "preference to a province" section instead of anything specific even if you like that province. For example, I liked BC as it's beautiful and traveled there a couple of times but somehow selected all provinces in EE application where they ask your preference for a province. From nowhere, I got an invite from Ontario PNP through express entry - I wasn't expecting it and I was at a lower score so stopped thinking about migrating to Canada. But it helped me obtain an ITA and hoping to get a PR soon.
Also I have done PGPX (aka IPMX) not PGP from IIM L - not sure if that made a different in my ECA report.
We usually have one draw every two weeks. The draw that happened two weeks ago was a special federal trades skill draw, so from the perspective of FSW applicants it was as if a draw did not happen. Effectively now the gap since the last draw has become 4 weeks. The longer the gap between draws, the higher the score, hence the prediction of higher cut off for tomorrow

umm, it is a downgrade of sorts. Their list of unis/degrees that make the cut is pretty iffy.
I got a Masters equivalent, so I am not complaining. But, I do know of some degrees that are super tough to attain, but WES considers them Bachelor's and vice versa. Having said that, the point was go with whatever gets you 'higher' equivalency. The point wasn't to diss WES' standards or methodology.
