Hey! Congrats on the PCC request, looks like you are finally on the finish line! Could you please share a few details for timeline comparison? Are you waiting Inland or Outland? When exactly did you receive your CSQ and when did you pass your very first medical exam? Did you have any prior document returns, delays, or did you apply DIY without a lawyer? hey does anyone know how much time it takes to dependents to receive ppr they are outside canada and primary applicant is in quebec its been 6 years and now he have pr card
about dependents they got csq 2 years ago, given biometric, given medical exam on 12 may 2026 ,then received portal 1 pr confirmation on 30 july 2026 now waiting for passport request does anyone know how much time it takes after this

Thanks for starting this thread. For Quebec spousal sponsorship, timelines can vary quite a bit because there are both federal and Quebec processing stages.

One important update is that Quebec changed its family reunification intake rules again in 2026. For the period from July 2, 2026 to June 30, 2028, MIFI set a new cap of 15,700 undertaking applications, including 13,300 for spouses/common-law/conjugal partners.

For cases already in process like yours, an expired medical does not automatically mean you need to redo it right away. IRCC may extend a previous medical result in some cases or send a new medical request if they need one.

Since you’re already at “medical expired / waiting for Final Decision,” the main thing is to watch for either a medical extension, remedical request, or final decision from IRCC. There isn’t a reliable fixed timeline just from being at that stage.

If anyone with a May/June 2024 Quebec outland file—especially Paris VO—has had a recent medical extension or final decision, that would be very useful to compare.
