Hello, anyone in a similar situation, where marriage happened post AOR in express entry and received P1/P2 and is adding the spouse to the application. I received P1 on jan 15, replied with the marital status change which happened in dec 31 2025, but received the P2 today. I would really appreciate if someone can share their experience on this. I would call IRCC on next working day and discuss/ask.
I believe you also will need to provide revised documentation (i.e. IMM0008 form and others) so you should prepare those and submit via webform ASAP. Basically you are redoing parts of your application where you would need to show spouse.

What if spouse is a PR? Does this also apply?
At what point is it best to inform IRCC about marriage that happened post AOR
For someone who is not a PR, you do not need to add to application. Just advise IRCC with basic details of person and letter of explanation (not a PR therefore not adding to IMM0008, spouse not eligible to apply as already a PR).
