I had submitted the online application in April, then after waiting for 3 months, I was asked to re-submit the physical presence calculator in July. It's very frustrating to wait another 3 months for AOR. I did check the original application and physical presence calculator was included in it. Not sure why they asked to re-submit it as missing information. I did submit a webform as well with copy of original application but I don't think it will help.

I don't know what was the issue.
I was asked to re-submit it saying physical presence calculator is missing from the application. But I did check the original application submission and it was present. So not sure why I was asked to re-submit it.

Isn’t it included as part of the online forms when you submitted the online application? Or did you upload a separate PDF form to the online application?

It is included as part of the online application i.e. it's inherent to the application itself. It is not required to upload it separately as a pdf. And that is why it's frustrating to have been asked to re-submit it. They didn't even say why I need to re-submit.
All that wait for AOR only to be pushed at the back of the queue.

Did you check original application for any discrepancies? Or did you check with IRCC?

I am sure this kind of situation would give anxiety to everyone waiting for AOR

I did check the original application as I did download it from the online application portal after I submitted it in April. And I can confirm that physical presence calculator is present in the downloaded application.
This is why the entire situation is weird and frustrating, not sure why I was asked to re-submit it. I had enough days to make me eligible to citizenship application when I submitted it in April. All I can think of is that the immigration official simply didn't see the calculator in the application.

I also submitted a webform but IRCC only replied back with a templated response saying that my application is being looked at. They didn't say why the calculator was requested again.

One of my friends' applications was returned after 3 months, stating that the attached Photo ID has expired. We checked all the attached Photo IDs, but nothing expired; all are active and valid. Rescanned the IDs and sent the application again.

I believe they hired some contractual staff at the initial AOR stage, and some of them are making these types of mistakes. Once we receive the AOR we can trust that now the application is in serious hands.
