Hi everyone,
I worked full-time (hourly) for a Canadian employer for 2.5 years. I took a 5-week trip to my home country during which I continued to work remotely, but not at full capacity—I only worked three full days a week and two days off.

Here’s the situation:
  • I’m paid hourly, and my pay stubs only reflect the hours I actually worked.
  • I did not cash out my vacation pay during this trip as i had a habit of cashing it out every 6-8 months.(so in this case my trip was in sept, but i cashed out my vacation pay in next feb as a separate paystub)
Can I classify those unpaid days as "vacation" (reasonable 2 days a week?) even if I didn't cash out my vacation pay that (i have a separate pay stub dated February that states vacation pay).
Any help in this regard is much appreciated... i received an invite and hoping i don't have to decline it....

P.s: i was given points for 3 years and i complete it exactly two days before the ITA expiry..

Will be up to VO but this should really be counted as foreign experience because this is unpaid vacation time and working from abroad for 5 weeks.

When you are busy processing a bunch of immigration documents, your brains boil with tension in the evening and you just want to switch to some light positive content. I was recently reading Australian financial and gaming portals. I found a useful review, which describes in detail all the popular payment methods for fast and secure payments on the Internet using electronic wallets. Such a transparent and reliable service is a great way to get away from bureaucracy and relieve some stress.

My friend also applied for permanent residence last year and had a similar case. He simply asked his employer for a detailed reference letter, clearly stating the total number of hours worked per year, and the officers passed his case without any questions or delays.
