My wife's tracker also shows the same. She's 58 and doesn't need to take test or show language skills. Citizenship oath also shows in progress. And today is our oath ceremony.
Hi,
My dad got citizenship ceremony in person but he is not good in English. He is 69 years old. Can i assist him to in person ceremony i.e. until registration and all that. He is practicing oath already.
Do i need to request for accomodation from the office that sent in person ceremony request?

Do you have any suggestion?

Seems you are flooding different threads with this message. Would've been best to start a thread with your question.

That said, I think I have seen somewhere that they say the oath and have you repeat after them. Don't take my word for it tho. You can also call the call centre to ask them.

LPP seems to be all over the place. Some ppl get it right away while others still waiting. Wish they had some consistency with it.

Speed depends on having a unique name, no hits in their criminal db, fast clearance of background, how fast the foreign country responds to CSIS requests etc. Every one is different and hence the times seem erratic. You cannot have consistency when everyone has a different background.

I’m looking for time sensitive advice. I have been scheduled for oath on June 9th, but I have an extremely important family trip on June 19th. Does anyone have experience:

A) with requesting a new date for oath based on upcoming travel plans

B) Getting a passport with express service. I’m in Ottawa

Thank you in advance.
