When you received Biometric and Eligibility letter?
I received a separate request letter from IRCC asking for the CSQ + other additional documents.I got that letter but no mention of CSQ at all. But is this usually mentioned in the same letter?
I contacted IRCC and they did confirm it was my AOR letter even though AOR is not mentioned on it. It's good that you got confirmation in writing that you should submit the undertaking application. No guessing there. For me it was not mentioned at all. Like you said, I will have to wait for when they restart accepting the undertaking applications. I was also advised to contact MIFI to check if ok to send the application.I received a separate request letter from IRCC asking for the CSQ + other additional documents.
However, my sponsor eligibility letter did state the following:
Provincial Requirements for Residents of Quebec
If you are a resident of the province of Québec, you must submit an undertaking application to the Provincial Government.
To download the required forms, please consult the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) website at www.immigrationquebec.gouv.qc.ca (Sponsors and Sponsored Persons section).
Complete the required forms and promptly submit them to the MIFI at the address provided in the provincial guide. Do not submit any of the MIFI forms to this office as they will only be returned to you. You must enclose a copy of this correspondence with your undertaking application to MIFI. If you received this communication via email, you may print a copy to be enclosed with your undertaking application to MIFI.
I think if you already received this sponsor eligibility letter you should be good to proceed with CSQ once Quebec restarts accepting undertaking applications in June.
Can I filled primary and dependent from same account?Step-by-step process to get a PCC in India
- Created an account on the Passport Seva portal under my mother’s name using: https://www.passportindia.gov.in/psp/ApplyPCC
- Filled out the online PCC application for both the primary applicant and the dependent.
- Paid the fee of ₹500 per applicant online.
- Visited the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) at the scheduled appointment time with the original passport, Aadhaar card, and appointment confirmation.
- Application was accepted, and I received an acknowledgment receipt with a tracking number.
- Local police verification was done—constable visited our home, took signatures, photos, and thumb impressions.
- Received the PCC certificate by email within 2–3 days after police verification.
Have you link your application online with GC key?Hi, yesterday I received an email for AOR and PCC submission for our PGP application, but it also added some other generic content as well. Can someone please help me understand if I need to take any other actions other than getting PCC.

In order to minimize any delays in processing your file, the following documentation is required
for your sponsored family members. If not already included in your application, please obtain
and submit as soon as possible:
• Police Certificate: The principal applicant and their dependant family member (if
applicable) must provide police certificates from:
• Their current country of residence if they have resided there for 6 months or more,
and
• The country where they have spent most of their adult life since the age of 18 (if
different than current country of residence).
Your relative is required to obtain the police certificate from that country’s law enforcement
authorities. Please send a copy of the original police certificate to this office as soon as
they receive it. Follow these instructions to ensure you provide the correct police
certificates: www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp.
• Passport/Travel Document: If the principal applicant and/or their accompanying
dependant family member (if applicable) have passports that have expired or will expire
within the next 12 months, please have them apply for and submit a copy of their new
passport with a validity of 12 months or more. Please ensure to include the biographic
page of the passport.
• Updated residential address: You are required to provide the current residential address
for the principal applicant and their dependant family member (if applicable). You must
report any changes to their address, telephone number(s) and email address immediately
throughout the processing of your application. Failure to provide updates may result in
processing delays.
• E-mail Address: Submit a valid email address for the Principal Applicant and/or their
Authorized Representative. This email address will be used to communicate with the
Principal Applicant and their dependant family member (if applicable) throughout the
processing of their application.
My questions are -
a) Besides PCC, we submitted all the rest of the information mentioned above, however, dependent family member passport is now expiring within 12 months (it was not when application was submitted last year). Should we get their passport renewed first and then get a PCC to submit?
b) I read the email few times but I do not see any deadline to submit these documents. Is it standard with these emails? Since, we would be required to first re-new passport and then get a PCC, it might take upto a coule of months. Would it be a concern?
c) For passport re-new, their original passport did not have surname (clerical error, they entered the full name as given name). So, now when renewing should we keep it same or have it correctly shown first name and last name?
Appreciate any help!
