Just got Request for Medical again 4/23 cuz last one had expired ( for my parents) and then got another letter 4/24 asking for Police Certificates and the IMM 5562 form for travels.
Question: Police Certificate was asked for my dad for only Pakistan
but for Mom was asked for both Pakistan and India (she was born there) but had given up her citizenship when she got married. She cannot get a police certificate from India cuz she doesn't live there. Do I ask for an exemption for this one correct? any suggestions and if someone has done that before. please help and advise.
we have 30 days to upload the new docs.
Help Appreciated.

Thanks for sharing! I am curious about the "Compressive Security' you mentioned. Is it being displayed on the GC Key Portal? How does one find out? My parents' medicals have expired, as it's been >1yr. Haven't heard anything since then.

Congratulations on getting an update. If there is no way for her to get a PCC from India, I would write a letter of explanation explaining them the situation and asking for an exemption. It maybe an overkill but you may want to get that letter notarized. what's your timeline?

Best bet would be to call IRCC for clarification and make changes. That's what I did and the agents were very helpful.

Where can i check status or update info for sponsor- like address etc ? Do i have to sign in on the Permanent Resident portal

I have never been able to check the status on ecas system. Only the portal where I applied the application. And for the address, I was able to use webform to update my parents address but never been able to update my address as the sponsor.

Is your application being processed by an office OUTSIDE Canada? will this be YES or NO?

i think it should be NO. cuz its with CPC Miss.... but not sure.
or will it be yes- visa office London -- but How do i know which visa office?

It should be NO because your application is being processed in Mississauga.

For your sake, I hope it's right away! but it has been a while for myself. e.g., PCC was submitted in Oct 2024 and medical was updated last year in May, still waiting!
