PR CARD RENEWAL SUBMITTED March 2026

Alright folks, my application is now approved in GCkey.
Applied: March 16
Application updated in the PR Portal: March 30
Linked application to GCKey: also March 30
Application approved: April 2, 2026

Hopefully it's delivered soon.

Card was delivered yesterday.

PR CARD received today!

Update: PR card received today for my wife. (Applied March 17)

All done, both of us are now set (husband and wife).

This was my second PR card renewal. Honestly, staying on PR status doesn’t feel worth it anymore, so I plan to apply for citizenship this December.

Applied for my mum's PR renewal on March 27, 2026. This is her first renewal, and she has had 1091 days of absence since become a PR in June 2021.

Checked today, and I see the following when I inspect the webpage in the PR Portal:

I tried accessing adding the application in IRCC GCKey using UCI & other information, but it can only find her original PR card application from 2021. I never received an Application Number for the renewal PR card application.

Should I be expecting to receive an email soon with steps on how to provide an updated photo?

alot of times its just AI rejecting ur photo and then the officer accepting it manually. u myt had the same case if u havnt still got any email from them reuesting a new photo
