Hi everyone,

I’m a December 2025 applicant and just wanted to share my timeline and ask a quick question.

• Applied: December 22, 2025
• Background Verification Completed: March 17, 2026
• Test Scheduled on Tracker: April 10, 2026 – May 9, 2026 (Updated on April 2)

I see the notification on my tracker that I’m scheduled for the test starting this Friday, April 10, but I haven’t received the actual email invitation/PDF yet.

For those who have already taken the test, how long after the tracker update did you usually receive the official email? Should I be worried if I don't have it by the start date of the window?

I feel like you will need their email to do the test. I think you should receive the email tomorrow!

Need help and guidance. I am applying for canadian citizenship. I have completed my 1095 days with 2 years of PR and 3 years of temporary residence.

I want help with someone who has applied with temporary residence + permanent residence ?

I have 2 questions.

1. Do we need to include letter of explanation and attach study and work permit ?

2. Do we need to add study permit status till I received my work permit because I was on implied status for 4 months between study and work permit.

Your guidance would be very helpful.

I claimed my temporary residence days as a temporary worker and provided a scan of my work visa (the one in my passport), along with the entry stamp and my work permit. There doesn’t seem to be a strict rule about what to include, though. I've seen others submit scans of every passport page and even their CBSA Traveller History Report. And there are people who don’t include anything at all and are still granted citizenship.

My application is still in progress, by the way. AOR: March 13, 2026.

Additionally, I recommend that you don’t apply until you have at least 2–3 weeks of buffer days.
