Refugee PR application: asked for supple documents again even though GCMS says it was received?

Hi everyone,


has this happened to anyone?


IRCC requested my FBI clearance and IMM0149 (Details of Government Service) back in Oct 2023, and I submitted them at that time. My GCMS notes even say the documents were received.


But yesterday, IRCC sent me another request for the same documents.


I’m planning to resubmit them with a short explanation letter, but I’m wondering:


Has anyone been asked to submit the same documents again even though GCMS shows they were already received?


Did it mean your file was moving forward or was it just because the police certificate expired? There is no expiration date on the FBI clearance though.

Maybe you could call IRCC to confirm it. Otherwise your idea of resubmitting them with a short letter makes sense to me.

(FBI) police certificate, do they any printed expiration date? if not, IRCC often treats police certificates as valid for about 12 months internally. A short explanation letter would be ideal.
