It personally gave me hope at a very difficult time!

Luckily, I learnt this week that my claim was approved without a hearing. Here's my timeline:

BOC: late Feb 2024
IRB referral and selection for file review: early April 2024
Evidence submitted: early May 2024
Security Screening: I know my GCMS notes that all stages were in progress by Dec 2025.
Approval: Feb 2026

To all of you waiting, trying to gain stability after what you witnessed in your home countires while also enduring prolonged family separation, please stay strong and keep taking care of yourselves. Thanks will hopefully get better soon!

And I passed my 15 days mark from the minister and cbsa to appeal so my lawyer is applying for PR now .

I applied for a renew on my work permit on Feb 5th 2026 ,
It was to expire April 15 2026 ...

I got my approval yesterday ( the email from IRCC ) they said the hard copy with be in mail in six weeks time

PS: I went to Costi at Sheridan mall and they help me full it out for free .. look online for there number and set an appointment.
Or just go in and ask questions..

I GOT 2 YEARS EXTENSION UNTIL 2028/2
