Same. 6 months since AOR, 4 months since comprehensive security screening started.
Any updates, anyone? I ordered my GCMS notes, and they confirmed the comprehensive security check. I also got a ghost update on my tracker (the date at the top of the page), but nothing is reflected in the GCkey account or the tracker.

No updates for me. I will order CBSA notes again in another month or so to see if there has been any progress. And the tracker “ghost updates” are often triggered by backend or automated system activity, so I don’t think it necessarily signals anything meaningful.

Date update on PR tracker has nothing to do with your application. It is a system date, IRCC tweeted about it couple years back.

Precisely, just a system update date.

Hi everyone,

I applied for CEC inland on July 24, 2025. My biometrics were completed on August 18, and my medical is still under review.
My eligibility was completed on October 15, and my background check started on October 15. I saw one ghost update on the tracker on January 12, 2026, but there has been no movement since then.
According to my GCMS notes, everything has been passed, and my file has been under security check since October 15. I also sent a webform in August regarding my medical, and they confirmed that no further tests are needed.
My application has now passed the standard processing time, and I’m not sure if I should start worrying. I’ve seen many people who applied in October already receive their decisions.

Is anyone in a similar situation? Please share your experience.

Thanks!

What did your GCMS notes say about the security type? You’re still within (or close to) the standard processing time. The only concern would be if your application was sent for comprehensive security screening, which takes longer to process, and that should be indicated in your notes. I wouldn't worry otherwise.

so even if i am waiting for ecopr. i got like 5 GUs in 3 weeks. nothing to do with my ecopr??

if you are referring to the date on top of the PR tracker, yes, nothing to do with your application. I'd ignore most GUs or updates like those as well om GC key. Between your P2 and eCoPR there isn't much that happens unless something puts your application review back in motion(very very rare), so any update (GUs) in this stage won't mean much. Since eCoPR is manually triggered by an officer, nothing materially happens that should require an update to database before an eCoPR is issued.
