Hi, when I called the IRB inquiring about my case the officer said they're waiting for a judge to look at my case.. what does that usually mean? Like to determine whether it is a file review/less complex case or a full hearing would be required and send me a notice to appear? Or just to determine hearing date immediately? what would they mean at this stage?

Thanks

A “judge” is not needed to determine whether your case qualifies as less complex and whether you need a short or full hearing. There is a huge backlog of cases so it can now take 2-3+ years to have a hearing and the wait times will continue to increase.

Is your background check was complete from cbsa?
