No update on my wife's file since June 11,2025.... waiting on LPP. I will just keep on applying for GCMS notes every 2 weeks...

Was your wife’s application initially returned because they couldn’t verify pre-PR days?
Same here. No updates since June 3, 2025. Have you received any gcms notes recently?
Maybe we are in the same group of files sent for BG, my last gcms notes showed Gant review ready PM03, and an officer was assigned with due date 2025/12/03. But No updates at all...
Yeah i recieved last month. Nothing seemed out of ordinary. All the due dates are march 30th. So lets see how it goes.
same here, background was completed on June 9th, waiting on LPP ever since. I see a ghost update on jan 13th, not sure if that signifies anything.
GU on Jan 13, it means that someone did some updates on your file, or at least opened your file. Which is a good news, good luck!
I just called the IRCC and was informed that the LPP process has not yet commenced. Although I wasn’t expecting any further updates from the call center, I find it astonishing that after 10 months, the LPP process has not yet been initiated.

I have seen multiple cases on FB that agent over phone told them LPP hasn't started and they end up getting it within few weeks. over phone agents can be misleading! your officer starts the process simultaneously once they receive your application. Don't lose hope!
-The "started/not-started" info seems to mean approximately nothing.

My spouse and I had our interview two days ago. It was a brief, five‑minute appointment, after which both our language and physical presence requirements were marked as completed. In my case, I'm still waiting for security clearance. The officer mentioned that this step could take days, weeks or even months, and they couldn’t provide a firm timeline since it isn’t handled directly by IRCC.
For my spouse, her background check was completed last year. However, because we applied together as a family, my security clearance must be completed before we can both proceed to the oath ceremony.
Guess it's a waiting game now.. again!
