Kinda gives a bit of faith in the system and that LMIA are not just given out on demand and that the ESDC does a lot of back ground research before approving or denying

Speaking as someone who'd tried and failed to go through this process from the other side - LMIAs are quite difficult, that's not new. This was the case back in 2016 when I first started looking into it, and I'm not at all surprised to learn that it's still the case even today.

That being said, this seems like a particularly easy example with a rather blatant red flag - I'm really hard pressed to think of any position in any industry that would require 13+ years of experience.
