Hello,
I have been experiencing insomnia that apparently is caused by anxiety since beginning 2021, I have taken different medications until I found one that helps me control my anxiety and get good sleep, I have always been able to work and study, I have never been hospitalized because of this, I don’t have any major psychiatric issues… I have never considered or attempted suicide.
Will this affect me? I am applying through express entry CEC.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

No, it will not.

I see it's been a while since you’ve posted, but I just want to ask if anyone who’s gone through medicals with similar conditions ended up needing follow-ups or extra paperwork. I’m in a similar boat with mild anxiety and occasional sleep issues, and I’m wondering how deep IRCC looks into these during medical exams. Did anyone get asked for a specialist’s note or anything like that?

From my own experience with immigration medicals, officers mainly look for issues that could create danger to others or lead to very high healthcare costs
