I applied on sept 23rd but my application got returned, saying it was incomplete. Reapplied on December 8th.

I have a question. I received my Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) in July 2022 and landed in Canada on September 20, 2022. I will submit my application on 20/12/2025. Prior to that, I was in India until September 20. I had been working in Abu Dhabi but resigned and returned to India in May 2021. After that, I stayed in India until I landed in Canada. In this situation, do I need to submit a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), or should I simply mention that I will not be submitting a PCC since I was in my country of origin before establishing permanent residency in Canada?

Its all depend on officer sometimes they ask for pcc .On safe side I already submitted my pcc with application .

For example, I have been living in Canada since December 1, 2023. However, I travelled to India for one month, from October 18, 2024 to November 18, 2024.


Should I enter my address in India for that specific period, or should I continue to list my Canadian home address for the entire time?

No u should mention only your permanent address

Hi there, at first, I put in only the last 5-year date; and then, I changed it to the correct start and end date. I think the latter will reflect more accurately.

During my five-year eligibility period, I held two passports. My earlier passport was issued in June 2014 and expired in June 2024. I was issued a new passport on December 1, 2020, which is valid until November 2030. Could you please confirm whether I should declare both passports or only the currently valid passport? Do I have to submit an LOE for getting the passport renewed before the expiry date?
