The Visitor visa validity depends on the Visa officer. However, the most approved application Visa depend on the validity of applicant's Biometrics or Passport, whichever is expiring first. In my case, the biometrics expiring in 2033 so I am expecting same length visa. However, I cannot confirm at this moment as we just got the PPR, and it is not stamped yet.

Hello All
I have applied Visitor Visa for my spouse. Its been almost 90 days and I see every week the timelines getting increasing. It is so frustrating to see this. Also applied GCMS notes and I see no officer has touched the file yet.
Application Date: 21st Aug 2025
Biometrics Completed: 25th Aug 2025
Residence for PA: India

Any August or September applicants have received PPR or any action which can help me?

Unfortunately, nothing but wait.

IRCC has over a million temporary residence (TRV, SP, WP) applications in process. 55% is still being processed under service standards, i.e., 106 Days (Nov 19) if PA is from India. Additionally, there migration to newer system is also ongoing.

Estimated processing is around 4 months not including passport stamping. Did she also apply for PR Outland.

I am on my PGWP and by the time I applied, it showed 60 days in the portal.

No, she didn't apply for the PR.
It is now over 100 days so based on today's date. Assume your NOC is not elgible for her SOWP. Hopefully approved but since her family (you) is in Canada then she needs to show absolute proof to return as well as cash in the bank.

Thanks for your feedback.

I did not apply for her SOWP as I didn't have more than 16 moths of valid work visa at the time of applying due to my passport expiration and I couldn't sponsor her SOWP. So, I applied for the visitor visa while showing more assets and funds on her name tied to India and her bank accounts to justify her return.

Also, I know that the processing dates shown in the portal are tentative but, should we consider the ones shown at the time of applying or the current dates shown?

Current date posted but may get a response sooner. Ties to return are business, job letter with approved leave, investment income with tenant agreements. As well as travel history. Her family ties are in Canada.

Ok let me hope for the response. She has also mentioned her job letter with the application. She does have prior international travel history that is mentioned.

Ok, so if she has US visa then may be processed through CAN+. Travel history for IRCC is visas to US, UK, NZ and AUS. Her job letter would outline her approved leave.
