PR CARD RENEWAL 2025 September

right know my only concern is if photo is accepted or rejected , because when i uploaded my pic with adjusted contract as needed the system said its accepted while filling out application . But now on inspect page details its say rejected, i guess that might be standard system generated thing in inspect mode .thought updatedAt say 20 and a date .
I am travelling on 3rd nov . So dont know if in case they ask for new picture, i can upload it from outside Canada or i need to be in canada .

search the forum for a thread about 'photo rejection' for pr card renewal / create a new post asking. I'm sure you'll find some advice there from someone who knows more/has experienced this before.

I am getting the same for my application with last update on 9th October and application submitted Sept 16. I have received no notification yet nor any update on the portal. I am also unable to link my application. I am concerned because I need to travel in November and I was hoping I would have received my card by now. Was the agent able to look up your application?

Here are my two cents;

I applied on September 5th for a PR renewal, of which on that day, the IRCC processing times were 32 days.

After 32 days, I called up to inquiry about the status. The agent said it was approved and the card will be printed and shipped to a local facility.

I was able to link my account to the secure portal with the help of a IRCC call centre agent to see my application number and other details.

It now says October 1 final decision made.

I have since called back to talk with an agent twice, and the only scripted response is, “Your card has been printed and it has been transferred to a local facility in Toronto and please wait for an email which will provide an appointment to pick up”

Needless to say this is disappointing and aggravating that it’s been sitting in this facility for 2-3 weeks. Are they waiting for thousands to get bulked up??

The processing times are now 30 days.

OK, clearly this is a system issue and shouldn't trust what you see i chrome developers console. I just received my PR card today in the mail.

Applied through PR Portal for family of 3
First Applicant - September 12, updated additional documents missed through webform on Sept 16 without asking.
Linked Application to IRCC Account - October 9
Current Status on IRCC Account - Final Decision- We are processing-last updated October 9.
Other Applicants Submission Date - September 17
Other Applicants Status - Not even able to link to IRCC Account as of today
Web Form Raised - October 20 - Standard Reply; We are processing...
October 23 - Checked mail box - Received all 3 PR cards.
Location - Ottawa, ON

Even Canada Post My Mail tracking didn't work for me.

Status ID moved from '16' to '20' and says 'completed' (from 'browser debug' details), within the PR portal, today i.e. October 10th.

Was able to link my application on the IRCC secure account today and view the application # & status.
It says : "Final decision - October 10, 2025: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made"

No email or any messages in the account from IRCC though.
I'm assuming i just wait till it randomly shows up in the mailbox ? - whenever Canada Post gets to it based on the latest partial/rotating strike news from yesterday + Thanksgiving long weekend

I was able to add an application to my GCkey. But the application shows all details from 5 years ago when I last time renewed the PR card. Should I expect a new application and application number or that is the one? so confused...

Same happened to me today! I tried and re-tried but it only takes me back to my application from 5 years ago.

Lol, in my case, when i login with my username and password, it takes me to my wife's account lol.

Ok Here is where i am:
Aug 30: Original PR Renewal application
Sept 24: Rejected for invalid photos, reuploaded new set of photos, and resubmitted the same date.
Oct 20: Status id changed to 20 - completed in PR portal. pr portal shows as submitted. ECAS/Gckey shows as "Reviewing eligibility".

My previous PR card expired on Sept 23. On Oct 20, i submitted the webform for urgent processing owing to death in the family. Slated for travel for Nov end. Hoping the PR card gets approved and i receive it on time since PRTD takes 6-8 weeks. . . .which i cant take either..

No issues with RO - was outside the country for 1 day in last 5 years lol. Straight forward application.
