HI FRIENDS, PLEASE HELP!!!!
can anyone help me find out how to apply to study in Canada under 16 years under-16-year-old child? My boyfriend lives in another country, and I am a PR holder waiting for my Citizenship. I am living in Canada at the moment. My boyfriend has a daughter in another country, and she is under 16 years old. I am a single mom and have a dependent child with me. My boyfriend is willing to spend money for his daughter and wants to make arrangements for her to live with me until he comes to Canada within a few more years. So,
I need your help and suggestions, details, and information for me to make the arrangements to bring her to Canada.
PLEASE GUIDE ME!!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!

Google - study permit minor. Contact the school board, private school where child will attend. Get admissions to that school and find out what international fees are. Usually between 10-20k per year. Then submit study permit application with guardian form. BF shows tuition paid and then another 20k for living expenses. So BF needs to show cash in the bank to support himself and child (so around 30k). He will have to show he has sole custody of the child too.

Hi dear Natugirl,
Thanks for the information. I will do that. As a first step, these are reasonable steps. Thanks again. And if there any more information, please suggest me later.

Hi guys,,,,
What are the eligibility or regulations that if I bring my partner's child to Canada for her to go to school in Canada with me, without my partner's arrival at the same time? We have not married yet, but he's going to give me the legal guardianship in my name for his child. I am not very rich, and my partner too.. But he can afford the child for the studies and the living costs..
Please give some suggestions and information that I can follow to bring the child to Canada, as the child will have no one in my country to look after her from next year.. My partner is in another country and he's working there. We are planning to get married and apply for him later.
But now, the main concern is the child.
I cannot put her behind as I love her so much and we all plan to get together as soon as possible after we get married.
Please guide me, and someone please share the link for 'MINOR STUDY PERMIT THREAT' here in this forum!
I need to follow everything that I have to, from the beginning, for this MINOR STUDY PERMIT process.
Thanks everyone in advance for helping me!!! :)

There is no THREAD. Follow the link. You are the guardian. Contact the school board you want her to attend to get information on international fees for her to study, and get admission. Pay fees or show the fees in your partner's bank account along with living expenses.

Would apply now because this is far from guaranteed given the situation and may take quite a long time to process. The child has minimal ties to their home country. What about the other biological parent? Does the mother have full legal custody? Have you gone to court to seek legal guardianship? This may not actually be a simple process especially as a non-biological family member and only the mother’s partner. Also Canada may take issue with their arrangement for a variety of reasons.
