I tried to call IRCC many times and my call hasn't been transferred to live agent what is the best time to call them from outside Canada
Is there any direct number rather than

The only other numbers are the published 888 area code ones.

My understanding is that the +1 613 944 4000 number was being phased out.

No you apply using the application process. Looks like you have paid a consult to fill out the paperwork for you. I would spend some time online reading through the various immigration programs on the Canadian immigration site.

You should stay away from consultants and apply on your own. It's a waste of money to apply through a consultant when it's just as easy to apply on your own. Plus, too many times we've seen consultants make errors in applications. Safer to apply on your own.

Thank you guys but I appointed this consultant 4 years ago and I got csq With him actually after this long time I will not be able to walk away as I paid already his feed long time back

You can contact the IRCC Client Support Centre at 1-888-242-2100 (within Canada only) from Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 4 PM local time.

Try calling right when the lines open for a better chance. Follow the prompts—usually press 2, then 3, then 2, then 1, then 0 to reach an agent.


Keep your application number and UCI ready for quick help. Agents can provide updates, but can’t speed up your case.

Outside Canada? You can utilize the IRCC Webform online for inquiries, but be prepared for extended response times. You can also check the status of your application at any time by logging into your IRCC account.

A little patience and persistence go a long way.
