Hello,

I am looking to emigrate to Canada preferably Ontario. I have created an express entry profile with spouse and got a combined CRS score of 350 which as I understand after some research is low and will probably not get me an ITA (Invitation to Apply).

Now I have started looking at applying to some PNP programmes directly. Spouse and I are software/electronic engineers with around 15 years of experience.

I have started looking at OINP and SINP to apply directly for PNP. Could you please tell me if I am going in the right direction?

Thanks.

There are no options for your family at the moment. How old are you? Are you married? If so how old are they and what is their ed/work experience? What is your education history? Have you ever worked or studied in Canada? What are your language scores? Do you know French?

PNP isn't going to be feasible unless you are working in Canada or have a qualifying job offer in Canada.

You are right. Zero chances of ITA with a score of 350.

SINP is also not possible as province is only selected those within Canada unless you are in an indemand NOC like healthcare. IT is not. Also don't think SINP score will be high enough if you don't have a family member in the province.

Only option is to max English scores and learn French.

Thanks for your reply. I am 40, we both have Masters degree which is Canadian equivalent too. Never worked or studied in Canada. We both have language scores averaging 8.0 . We are married with 2 kids, 10 and 6. We don’t know French.

Not going to happen with your current profiles.

So if you want PR then need French to CLB 7 in all sections, and even then score may not be enough as age gives you no points moving forward.
