I’m preparing to use Canada’s business immigration pathways (e.g. Start-Up Visa or entrepreneur streams). As an independent sponsor (or with plans to lead a deal myself), I’m wrestling with the capital side: how to bring on board the right partners ahead of relocating or setting up.
I’m trying to find investors for independent sponsors who are comfortable investing into cross-border opportunities, especially those involving Canadian operations or immigration structures. Has anyone done this successfully?
How did you identify and onboard capital partners before or during the immigration process?
